The Best Workout Program

The Best Workout Program

We have all gone searching for the best workout program before. It is hard enough to get motivated to workout without having to sift through the countless books and magazines that all seem to say something different. What makes matters worse is that since most sites, magazines, and gurus are selling something how can we know what really works?

The Best WorkoutHere are my top 5 tips for finding the best workout program that will work for you.

1 – Know what your real goals are. For some people they want to know how to lose weight, others what to know how to build muscle, and others just want to feel healthier. Not everyone wants to be a bodybuilder so get clear on what you want out of a workout program. You need to find the best workout program for you that will get you the results you want.

2 – Do a little research. Workout routines have come a long way and they have cut through some of the confusion. I did my own research on the web for a workout program and found the top two that seem to be getting results right now, but these are not for bodybuilding. I looked on places like Amazon.com in their Best Sellers section under fitness to see the top workout programs. The best part of this trick is you can read all the reviews and see how many people got real results from each program, most reviews on Amazon or brutally honest. Great resource.

3 – Cut through the hype. Most pages are selling the program so it is hard to believe if it really works. The best workout programs should have plenty of regular people not in their infomercials that have used it and gotten great results. Google the name of the workout routine and see what pops up in Google images. If you see tons of images from regular people this is a good indicator that it probably works.

4 – Get committed. Half of the problem is finding the best workout program, but it doesn’t matter if you aren’t going to follow through. Your level of commitment is as important if not more than finding the the right workout routine. You have taken the time to come this far and get educated and that is great, but to change your health and your body you are going to need to get committed.

5 – Do the entire program. Workout routines generally produce the greatest results over time. This means the people who start a workout program and then don’t really follow through miss out on the largest benefits which come towards the end. If it is a 90 day program then don’t evaluate it until day 91. I mean it, that is one of the biggest issues. The people who developed the workout routine put time and energy into crafting a product that gets results. If you want to prove them a liar wait until you have done it fully.

So that’s it, know your goals, do the research, cut through the hype, get committed, and do the entire program. Each step adds value to the next step so that you get the most out of your workout program experience. Don’t cheat yourself, don’t cheat your program, and don’t wait until tomorrow to get started. As always consult your doctor before starting any exercise programs.
